Preparation

Jane and Colin had a vision from the start, an elegant, timeless vibe, with modern rustic touches to mirror the setting. They chose a talented team of vendors to bring it all together, led by their planner Bethany Pickard of Modern Kicks events.

A WEEKEND OF EVENTS

Jane and Colin are all about friends and family, and they made a weekend of their wedding. They had a lovely rehearsal dinner for 30 set in the stone ruins. The table was set with Handsome Archive’s vintage bleu and white willowware dishes, silverplate flatware and etched wine and Champage glasses. It was catered by Hearth & Table. There was a goodbye brunch on Sunday to finish off the weekend.

ON THE WEDDING DAY

On the wedding day, each detail so thoughtfully designed, was on display. From the floral bridesmaids dresses, each one unique, to the florals which felt as though they had just come from a country garden. Jane and Colin chose the open meadow, mountain-view ceremony site, which was surrounded by wildflowers. For dinner, there was a stunning display of food cooked in several outdoor pits for a truly immersive dining experience. The dance floor was full from the start of the night until the very end, only interrupted by the beautiful fireworks display.
